When I travel, it's often to see family, from John Glenn International Airport to Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This isn't a doxx -- I'm a musician based in Columbus, and both Columbus and Charlotte are massive cities. So my inspiration is sitting in Columbus, waiting to see family. 

There's always this nervousness before I fly -- I'm old enough to remember 9/11, and anxiety is my middle name. But it's also exciting at the same time. I hope I've captured some of that feeling in this. The castanet rhythm came to me randomly :P

And! John Glenn has a piano outside of TSA control that anybody can sit and play. I usually play a little bit of piano on it before I go in. Maybe I'll play this the next time I fly.
